Devil's Knot, the planned big-screen adaptation of the history of West Memphis Three, who was in charge of the exorcism of Emily Rose and The Day the Earth Stood Still director Scott Derrickson, is pending rights issues with the book of the same name, which is based on the script. RT Derrickson said that despite spending a lot of time preparing for the film seemed that the project would not be happening.
West Memphis Three are Damien Echols, Jason Baldwin and Jessie Misskelley, which in the nineties, were convicted of the murder of three children under 8 years old at the Robin Hood Hills area of West Memphis, Arkansas.
