delaware snowfall

delaware snowfall

The snow is moving shown by radar for detail follow.
Snow is starting to move in on the radar although nothing is reaching the ground as of yet due to dry air at the surface. We'll see radar returns continue to advance northward overnight, with snow working into Philadelphia early in the morning hours tomorrow. Heavier snow will work into the region tomorrow afternoon through tomorrow evening, which will be the bulk of the event. The first part of tomorrow will feature light snow but conditions will worsen slowly as we work into the afternoon, then tail off more dramatically after 2 PM.

Based on the model guidance and radar trends, I have decided to up snowfall totals some for the region. My thoughts continue to remain consistent but I have accounted for some higher snow ratios at times, as well as the cutoff factor across the north and west of the region.
